Net Zero Properties pioneering Manage-to-Green strategy runs via a constructive and sequential two-phase strategy.

Phase One establishes measured performance. AI-enabled sensors and actuators are installed across the existing heating infrastructure, consumption patterns are analysed in real time and the pipe system is regulated automatically. Energy consumption falls by 15-25% with no structural works, and the resulting baseline is verified rather than modelled.

Phase Two achieves fundamental decarbonisation. CO₂-neutral heating systems replace fossil-fuel infrastructure, with heat pumps, solar panels and storage installed and covered by a 10-year heat supply and maintenance guarantee. Energy consumption falls by a further 50-60%.

1 Phase 1 - Performance

AI-enabled sensors and actuators Sensors and actuators are installed across the existing heating infrastructure, without structural works.
Real-time consumption pattern analysis Consumption is measured continuously, producing a verified performance baseline for the building.
Automated pipe system regulation Flow is regulated automatically against measured demand, cutting waste from the existing system.

2 Phase 2 - Net Zero

Heat pump mounted on the property exterior Heat pump mounted on the property exterior and heat storage tank in the basement replace the old fossil-fuel heating system and boiler.
Photovoltaics installed on the roof Depending on the structural conditions, a PV system is also installed. It supplies the electricity required to operate the heat pump.
Intelligent control regulates heating and the heat pump The control system is linked to the PV system and the heat pump and regulates demand. In dark periods, green electricity is supplied stably and at lower prices than district heating. This means the heating system is permanently CO₂-neutral.
